1 x 400g tin spinneysFOOD Chick Peas, drained, rinsed and 62.5ml of the liquid reserved
1cm piece of fresh turmeric, peeled and chopped
2 tbsp spinneysFOOD Mediterranean Extra Virgin Olive Oil, plus extra for drizzling
2 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp spinneysFOOD Fine Cumin
½ tsp spinneysFOOD Salt
3 garlic cloves
½ tsp sesame seed oil
Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Serve with crackers or raw vegetables on the side.
